Meet Beverly Jenkins, the dynamic CoFounder and President/CEO of Refuge and Restoration Nonprofit! With her vibrant spirit, she’s leading the charge on community economic development through the exciting redevelopment project known as "The R&R Marketplace." But that’s not all—she’s also CoPastor and CoFounder of the Refuge and Restoration Church!

Beverly has a magical knack for forging genuine relationships faster than you can say “community!” Her love for prayer, combined with her prophetic biblical insights, equips her with a remarkable ability for business organization and strategic thinking. She’s not just a leader; she’s an innovator! With her creative flair, she crafts imaginative solutions that truly make a difference. Beverly’s inclusive leadership style shines as she uncovers unique ways to radically transform lives, always pushing boundaries and daring to ask, “Why not?” After all, she believes that “No” is a complete sentence, but it doesn’t have to be the final answer!

As a co-founder of the nonprofit Refuge and Restoration, Beverly plays a pivotal role in overseeing the ambitious R&R Marketplace—a remarkable 20 million dollar development project endeavor and community investment nestled in Dellwood, MO. She’s on the front lines, ensuring everything from construction to programming, hiring strategies, and retail space leasing is executed to perfection!

Originally from Poplar Bluff, MO, Beverly now brings her sparkle to Florissant, where she proudly shares her life with Pastor Ken Jenkins. Together, they have raised a wonderfully talented daughter and three amazing boys, while also relishing the joy of being doting grandparents to three fabulous grandchildren.

Academically, Beverly is no slouch! She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Management, along with impressive certifications such as IFF's Stronger Nonprofit Initiative and the Goldman Sachs 10k Businesses Cohort. She attributes all her successes to her steadfast faith in Christ, which is truly her guiding light. For Beverly, authenticity and transparency are essential ingredients for effectiveness, and she’s determined to see every project through to completion, confidently declaring, “It is finished!” with a big smile on her face.
